Q: Where is Que by the Sea?
Que by the Sea is held in Seaside Heights, NJ on Grant Avenue. For directions, refer to Page 4 of the Vacation Planner.

Q: Where can I stay while I’m in Seaside Heights?
There are many fine motels and hotels in the area. Refer to the provided list.

Q: Is there an admission fee?
Only for the competition portion of Que by the Sea. The Festival portion is pay as you go.

Q: How will I know who is selling food?
There will be signs to indicate concession stands that are part of the street festival.

Q: Is the event handicap accessible?
Yes it is. If you require special assistance, please notify a festival worker.

Q: If entries in the Chef’s Choice category need to be cooked, must they be cooked on site?
Yes, they must be cooked the day of the competition after inspection.

Q: What time is meat inspected for the competitors?
Meat inspection begins on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Q: What rules do I need to follow to be a contestant?
Rules are included with the application to complete. Note earlier turn-in times than KCBS rules.
