The distribution center is located on a 68-acre site near the tradeport area in Jacksonville. The facility ships and receives food and other consumer products via rail and truck with the addition of truck docks and a rail spur. The distribution center also incorporated a hazardous materials storage area, an administrative office and a guardhouse. Fourteen acres of the southern portion of the site have been left available for a future phase.
